Science
We are going to be switching gears to science
soon. In science class we will work on living and
non-living things. This will transition to animal
habitats, animal traits, heredity, and
characteristics. Looking (far, far) ahead, at the end
of the unit students will choose any animal and
write an animal report around Christmas break as
part of a school AND home project.
We will still continue to talk about Community
Leaders, as well as keep inviting some more
Community Leaders into our classroom.
Mayor Visit
We had a visit from Port Huron Mayor Pauline
Repp on Tuesday. The students were able to ask
her some interesting questions about her job,
including what it is like being the boss of the
town, what does a usual day look like, what is the
hardest part of her job, etc. Thank you Mrs. Repp
for your visit to Crull Elementary!
**Dont forget to check out our classroom weebly
site (crullcomets.weebly.com) for updates about
our learning adventure this year!
Book orders are due Oct. 17th.
Looking Ahead
Halloween
Students have a half day of school on Monday,
October 31st. School dismisses at 11:48am and
lunches will not be served.
Our all school parade will start (We will let you
know). We will parade through the gym so that
parents, family, and friends can see our awesome
costumes and not have to get squished in the
hallways. Please remember that no weapons are
permitted.
Afterwards we will be having a small classroom
party. More details to come home soon.
