Time Efficiency
Students have responsibilities and commitments coming up as soon as college starts. They
need to figure out how to balance out their daily activities and school that will fit their
schedules. The essay helps students get an overview about how to manage their time wisely
and daily routine. The information for this essay came from the total number of hours spent on
each activity daily and then totaled up weekly.
The information gathered for the chart were the total number of hours spent each day on
every activity.

The purpose of creating a college schedule is to make time for the classes and courses
needed to be taken throughout the day. It also helps schedule time for studying and
extracurricular activities. The chart organizes students schedules and time, tell them what
classes to take and go to. The information was gathered from the ASU website that helps
people create their own schedule.

I think the major difference in the two time usage charts are the amount of hours I spend
in school and class. In high school I spend about eight hour everyday whereas in college, I
would spend about three hours, and there are the breaks in between the day. The similarities
within the charts are the amount of time I spend on homework, which will not change, it will
always stay the same. Also, the essentials like bathing, eating, and sleeping, they are the same.
Nothing really surprised me about the similarities because I know that the amount of
homework and studying I will do in college will not be less than how much I did in high
school. About the similarities, I was surprised that I will have some extra free time to myself
and have a social life, being able to go out more often. I am worried that I will get all stressed
out over my hectic schedule next year with all the different days and times of classes, them not
all being on the same day like I am used to. I learned that it is easy to make out a college
schedule online and there are many classes offered that I may be interested in when I get there.
I also learned that some of the hobbies I like doing are available at ASU for me to do in the
future.
