1. Task

Temporal and spatial dimensions in this debate about

analogue vs. digital technologies
The medium is the message what are the social or cultural
changes bought by the digitalization of the analogue
technologies you examined? How does such a digital
technology change the ways in which we perceive or
experience the world?

issues related to remix culture.
In-class Research Exercise
As a group, identify and present a case study on an emerging /
established remix artist or media producer who makes use of
preexisting words, images and/or sounds to create new works. Be
prepared to discuss:

His/her career development even if s/he remains somewhat

as an amateur artist / non-professional media producer;

Sources of materials that s/he utilizes in his or her works;

Key or major projects that s/he is involved in; and

Whether your group agrees that in this case Posters argument

and its premises are true.
