THBT Online Anonymity bring more harm than good
Nowadays, the users of the internet has been getting increase. Almost 100 million of Indonesian
people be the user base on data in 2015. It indicates that online life or internet can be the one of
most necessary in Indonesia people life and absolutely. In the internet, people can excite by the
words, picture or video what they want to post it in internet. But, you know that people have
privacy right too. In order to people can expressing what their mind to the internet, they often
hide their identity to keep off from any bullying that addressed to them.
I want to give rebuttal for the Government side. Anonymity is good to still defend. You said
before, that the anonymity often to be used only the criminality side. How about the other person
who want to express themselves in online world without bullying or make another trouble
without hide their identity? Surely, there is no one place again that they can excite what their
mind. Thats not all of the anonymity is harmful. And how about if criminality has occurred by
the anonymity? We can track their IP address and catch the culprit.
Well ladies and gentleman, We disagree with this motion because the anonymity online is not
harmful at all. The anonymity can give the protect to the users in online life.
I will bring the argument about the right privacy and the anonymity can protect the user from
criminal to avoid users becoming the victims of criminality While, the my second speaker will
bring the argument about protect them to express their mind or critical of some problem.
Well ladies and gentleman, welcome to my argument. We strongly disagree with this motion
because of the anonymity not really harmful than good. Otherwise, we can protect the users
before them be a victims from the internet crime. Moreover, if they have some stalker that can
endanger their live. If they not hide their identity in online live they can feel uncomfortable
because the stalker has bother them. And then, they can be target of the other crime too. There
are many perpetrator that observe their potential victims trough the internet. And then, everyone
have the right privacy to protect them from the tings that they wont. Often, people tend to see the
identity and labels that provide information, such, what profession, educational background, thus
causing inconvenience to express something in cyberspace. Or perhaps people in trouble and
looking for help on a very personal matter that they need. So, they have the privacy right to
protect their identity. Well ladies and gentleman, I want to remind you that the online anonymity
is good to people. The online anonymity can protect the users from the crime and their identity to
solve themselves problem. Thats all from me. I rest my case and I beg you to opposed.
