ASSESSMENT TASK

ADVICE TO STUDENTS

Year 10 Sports Science Project


*Energy Systems*
This project will the final assessment for Unit 2 Energy Systems.
Students should ensure they complete all the components of the project. Students will be working
in a group of 3, to develop and present a creative way of exploring one of the energy pathways
(anaerobic and aerobic) given to them.

Your task:
Form a group of 3 (aerobic pathway) or 4 (anaerobic pathways)
Each group member should have equal input into the planning and execution
of this project
Select your group members wisely
Plan, research, and present your energy pathway as a group
You will have access to computers, library, flip cameras, heart rate monitors,
sports equipment and outdoor facilities for this project.
Be creative with your submission (think outside the box)
Ensure you use all of the key terminology for each pathway
You will be given class time to work on this group project, although you may
need to allocate more time outside of classes to complete this task.
Some examples that you may like showcase your work include: Rap, song,
rhyme, play, image story
You have free range with this project, in the way you explore your given
energy system. Try and inspire, create and teach yourselves and others in the
class

Think creative and inspire others to do so.


Submission Requirements:
*If you choose to do a podcast, video or presentation using digital technology you
will need to submit this on a USB for me to collect. All submissions are to be handed
in by the due date: Friday 7th October.
You will be assessed on the following areas:

-Knowledge content
