MIDDLE SCHOOL
WEEK OF:

Friday Bulletin

Weekly Publication for Middle School Parents

OCTOBER 24 TO 28

Inside this issue:

Dear Parents,
It has been a very busy week in Middle School, with 3 days of Parent Teacher Conferences and Filipiniana. Thank you for taking the time out of your busy schedules to
attend the PTCs. We hope you enjoyed meeting your childs teachers and hearing how
you can continue to support and celebrate your son/daughter as they continue their
learning journey.
Today we celebrated our host culture with a lively Filipiniana celebration. The event
kicked-off with a parade around school and was followed with tasty Filipino treats at
the Barrio Fiesta. Middle School students participated in a range of activities in vertical
advisory groups, where Filipino games, dancing, crafts, and Tagalog lessons were on
offer. The day culminated in the FAT with performances from our MS and HS band,
strings, dance, musical theatre and choir programs. Students from our service learning
partners - SPECS also participated and entertained us with singing and dancing routines. A special thank you goes out to all parents who offered their support at the Barrio Fiesta and helped make this years Filipiniana celebration memorable. Below are a
few photos from todays activities:
