Conferences

Dear Parents,
Thank you for sending your child in their Color the Park t-shirt yesterday. We will be
asking students to wear these t-shirts throughout the year to unite us in our better
together theme. On Thursday, all of our staff and nearly 400 students wore these shirts
and created a fish shape to go with our school theme of Our school is better together
#pesbettertogether based off of the book Swimmy by Leo Lionni. This was a fun
activity to work on together and the result turned out amazing!

If you have any pictures of our Park students being better together please tag them
#pesbettertogether and let your childs classroom teacher know. We love to see our
school character themes carryover into our students everyday lives!

All School Halloween Parade!

On Monday, Oct. 31 at 1pm, we are planning (weather permitting) to continue our tradition of brightening the lives of the residents
of The Laurels by walking to their nursing home and parading through their hallways in our costumes.
The parade route will be: Head north down Park Ave. to Van Buren, take a right (east) onto Van Buren down to 36th. Then will turn
right (south) on 36th Ave walking toward Curtis. Turn right (west) onto Curtis which will take us back to school.
*If you are interested in attending our parade we are asking parents to line the parade route rather than going in through the Laurels with us,
as there is limited space. If it does rain we will not be having an indoor parade. Teachers will have a rain plan for their individual classes.
Have a wonderful weekend,

From the Gym:

Just a reminder that Turkey Trot is next Tuesday October, 25th. Gates open at 4:30 and late registration begins right away for those

food drive. Im always amazed by the generous hearts in our community! Information will be coming home soon. The class with the
highest number of donated items will win a bowling trip with me to Hudsonville lanes. Ive been communicating on a daily basis on the
gym Facebook page. Its my goal to share all forms and important information on there so please, check it out! https://
