On this Jubilee for Catechists, we
are being asked not to tire of keeping
the key message of the faith front
and center: the Lord is risen. Nothing
is more important; nothing is clearer
or more relevant than this.
Everything in the faith becomes
beautiful when linked to this centerpiece, if it is
saturated by the Paschal proclamation. If it remains
in isolation, however, it loses its sense and force. Pope Francis' Homily September 25,2016

ST. JOHN NEUMANN CATHOLIC CHURCH

Upcoming Workshop
Grieving
Support
for the Holidays
The holidays for most of us are times of family gatherings,
laughter, sampling holiday treats and sharing loving family
memories. For others it's a challenging time as we are reliving
histories of loved ones lost through death, divorce and/or
separation. St. John Neumann Catholic Church (Family Life
Committee) will once again sponsor the Grieving for the
Holidays Workshop. The workshop focus will provide
participants an opportunity to learn how to grieve, through
effective coping strategies that include memorializing loved ones,
reevaluating attitudes about death and loss, effective mourning,
and finding hope so that the holidays are once again a JOYFUL
time of the season even for those individual's that have suffered a
recent or past loss.
