How to Configure Android to Use

Vayudoot Wifi
Follow these steps to set up your Android device running Android 2.0.x and
above to use Vayudoot WiFi at Savitribai Phule Pune University
Before you begin, you must have:
An Internet username and password. Your username is usually looks like
2014absurname . If you have forgotten your password, reset it at http.
An Android device with or above installed.

1. Configure your Wi-Fi.

Select Settings.
Select Wireless & Networks.
Select Wi-Fi Settings.

2. Select the Vayudoot Wireless Network.

Under Wi-Fi networks, select Vayudoot-Students.

If Vayudoot isnt on the list, you may need to move to another area
with better connectivity.

3. Configure Vayudoot option.

EAP Method: Select PEAP.

Phase 2 Authentication: Select MSCHAPV2.
For both CA certificate, leave as (Unspacified)
Identity field: Enter your Internet ID username.
Anonymous Identity field: Leave blank.
Wireless Password field: Enter your Internet ID password.
Scroll downward and select Advanced Options.
Proxy: Select Manual.
Proxy hostname: Enter 196.1.114.80 .
Proxy port : Enter 2222
Click Connect.

5. Verify your connection.

Under Wi-Fi, you should see Vayudoot-Students connected.

6. Use Vayudoot wifi.

Open chrome or Firefox browser ,enter www.google.com.
Enter your internet ID and Password ,Select Ok.
