WORK EXPERIENCE:
Math Teacher at St. Michael High School: August 2014 present
I am currently teaching high school level Algebra I, Algebra II, and Geometry where class
size ranges from 20-30 students. This position requires offering tutoring hours per week. To stay
current I have attended various instructional seminars.
Math Tutor for SHC Center of Academic Excellence: August 2012 - May 2014
I tutored students in intermediate algebra, pre-calculus, calculus, and business calculus at
both Spring Hill College and Baton Rouge Community College. I also assisted students with
online homework using WebAssign. My appointments were nearly always filled; I was often
requested as a tutor. In addition, I also privately tutored.
Office Assistant for SHC Campus Ministry: August 2010 - May 2014
I organized the ministers for Sunday masses including altar servers, Eucharistic ministers, and
lectors. I also recorded and organized financial information regarding fundraisers such as
campaign drives and exam-a-grams. I also assisted with important paperwork for the Immersion
trips.
Badger Connection Guide for Spring Hill College: June 2012 August 2012
I was an Orientation Guide for Spring Hills Badger Connection. I participated in preliminary
intensive informative sessions about SHC in order to be able to answer questions from new
students and parents. During the two-day Badger Connections throughout the summer, I led a
group of students through the different orientation sessions. The guides were also responsible for
serving meals and performing entertaining skits.
