Time is of the Essence
The final step in life before becoming a full-fledged adult is college, a place where you
lose sleep, money, your social life, and your mind. The amount of time that will be diverted to
college will immensely change the next four years of my life.

The purpose of creating a college schedule beforehand is to give myself and my parents
an idea of what my time at college will be like. The schedule will also provide me with a layout
of what I should and shouldnt not be using my time for.

The purpose of the mock college schedule is to have a rough idea about what classes I
will be taking, at when, for how long, and how many credit hours I would receive. The graph
represents what will take up the majority of my time along with the comparison of other
activities with each other.

The first and main difference I notice about my two schedules is the amount of sleep I
predict I will lose. However, the sleep category remains the largest not to my surprise. The work
being zero to working doesnt surprise me, quitting was my choice, but Im going to need money.
The job still somewhat worries me if I need more time to finish school work of if there is a band
rehearsal I was unaware of which is one more thing to worry about though. I learned that when
scheduling your college classes there is way more freedom in that I am able to choose exactly
when and even who my professor will be. Another thing I learned is that I will not have a lot of
free time in general. This college schedule is more than just college itself, this schedule will also
determine everything else I do on a day-today basis.
