Description of how to implement in the class:

The teacher will introduce seasons by reading aloud The Reasons for Seasons by Gail Gibbons.
Afterwards the teacher will create an anchor chart by listing the four seasons described in the book.
The teacher will ask, can you tell me something that happens during one of these seasons? The
teacher will record students ideas on the anchor chart. This will activate the students prior
knowledge.
Hand out laptops to students and have them log onto Kidspiration. Ask students to create a chart
that entails the following: the four seasons (spring, summer, fall, winter), two pictures per season,
and a short sentence describing each picture. Once completed have students print their work. Ask a
couple of students to present theirs to the class. Hang up the students work on the wall outside the
classroom. * The teacher can take this project for a grade.
Level of Technology Implementation (LoTi):
The LoTi level for this activity would be exploration. The students are focused on Blooms levels of
remembering and understanding because they are taking what they learned from the book and
applying it to their Kidspiration.
Description of the sample BBPT file provided *:
The sample I have provided shows the viewer an example of what a students work should look like.
Other comments about your proposed BBPT Activity:
Kidspiration is a wonderful BBPT resource for elementary students, especially grades K 3rd.
