Gummy Bear Experiment

Osmosis, is a movement of solvent (water) going through selectively permeable

membrane to a higher concentration of solution that tries to equalize the
concentration of solution on both sides of the membrane.
Diffusion is a movment of particles from a higher concentration area to a lower
to a higher concentrated area.
The gummy bear went through the osmosis process absorbing the water
through the permeable membrane (gummy bear) to eqaulize the concentration
on both sides causing the gummy bear to expand.
