Sarah was viewed as “one of the many teachers" in our classroom, She was always prompt, prepared, and ready to go,
conducting herself in a professional manner.

While at Brookfield Elementary, Sarah was caring and quickly became part of the class. She talked to kids at their level
and immediately engaged herself in seond grade.

Within the classroom, Sarah felt comfortable conferring with students and giving "gentle reminders" to students to get,
back on task, Sarah participated in planning for our team teaching approach to some of the literacy lessons, whieh
included our principal, and/or RTI members.

Sarah was always prepared with her literacy lessons and was able to lend a hand whenever needed. Not only did she teach
her own lessons, but jumped right in with spelling, (checking sorts, giving tests, and instructing students on patterns
within their sorts)
5. Communicates effectively through speaking, writing, and listening (e.g,, gives clear 10 Oowo

While giving her lessons, Sarah followed the workshop model practiced at our school. She did a wonderful job with
lesson on connections, predictions, determining the point of view of a story and infer why the author may have written a
story from that point of view. She incorporated the use of Edmodo on their iPads, clipboards, paired, small group
discussions and a grand conversation,
Final Comments/Suggestions for Candidate:
Sarah did a great job in second grade, It is difficult to walk into a room once a week and continue with routines.
She stepped right in and was always viewed as one of the teachers in the eyes of the students. Keep up the great
work.
