SECTION 1: Findings
Congress makes the following findings:
1) 2014-15 Census results show skewed distribution of teacher salaries
between districts.
2) 2014-15 Census results also show a skewed distribution of dropouts
in schools.
3) Compared together, 86% of the schools that had more than 3%
dropout also had low teacher salaries.
4) More than 40% of Low-income Schools Dont get fair share of State
and local Funds.
SECTION 2: Purpose
The purpose of this bill is to increase funding for public schools and also to
include the use of the funds, teacher salaries, supplies and extracurricular activities.
SECTION 3: General Provisions
This act will require the allocation of funds for schools and also a new
department for regulating the funds between districts. This department would be
called the EED, or Education Enhancement Department. A board could be
created to control and regulate the use of these funds.
SECTION 4: Definitions
Extracurricular Activities: Sports, events, clubs, and other activities yet to be
determined by the department.
