Guided/Independent Practice: Students who don't understand how to sign can work with me to know how to sign. Students who understand most of the alphabet in sign language may work with someone who knows the alphabet. Students who understand the alphabet and spell out their names may help others around them. Closure/Summary: Bring the class back together. Repeat the alphabet one more time and have each student spell out their name one by one. Assessment/Evaluation: During the whole class activity, each student will come up to the front and spell out their name. If student has trouble with certain letters, others may help.
