I.

WAVE ENERGY COVERTER

Description:
This project has a mechanism that includes sprocket and gearbox. Another source of energy which installed in the body of water were waves are produce for the
mechanism to be mechanized that would produce power in small scale and can be used to illuminate coastal areas using LEDs lights.
Problem Being Addressed:
Energizing islands that could not reach the energy grid or for maritime agencies for shallow water warning device
Target Consumers:
Consumers living in an isolated island that could not be reach in the energy grid and to those located near in the body of water.

II.

ACTUATORLESS DUMPTRUCK

Description:
It is dumping truck system that has constraint mechanism which causes the machine to deliver payload by the forces caused by its own weight. A dashpot damper is
installed to avoid sudden shock and to slow down the dumping process to avoid the damage. Ideal for small scale earth moving process and gravel deliveries.
Target Consumers:
Mining companies, building contractors, dredgers and sand quarries

III.

RICE PLANTING MACHINE

Description:
This mechanism project has four bar linkages and wheel. The machine is powered by human wherein the rice seedlings are mounted above an inverted pyramid
container.
Problem Being Addressed:
This machine is dedicated to help the rice farmers to plant rice faster than the conventional hand planting.
Target Consumers:
Rice farmers and/or agriculture cooperatives and organization especially in rice plating

IV.

PAVEMENT MARKING MACHINE (Thermo plastic paint applicator)

Description:
There is nothing new in pavement marking machine. It is widely available in different configurations. There are already designs and innovations for applying thermoplastic
paints. A new system will be developed to treat the paint and apply it like an adhesive tape. The system will include cleaning, priming and heating mechanism to effectively bind
the paint to the pavement.
Problem Being Addressed:
Non-availability / expensive retail values of these kind of machineries, monopoly of contractors / very few competition in awarding of contracts
Target Consumers:
There is very little market for those who will buy this machine. It is estimated that DPWH will pay P500 per linear meter of a 10 cm width road marking. If realized, the
machine will not be sold in volume but rather the proponent would acquire contracts from the DPWH. If patent is applied, the proponent can rent these machines to other
contractors and receive a royalty from the project.

V.

SOLAR POWERED SECURITY SYSTEM AND NIGHT LIGHTS

Description:
It is a security system and evening lights that is powered by solar energy. At daytime energy stored at the battery where collected by solar panels from the sun. Since
sensors of the security system are powered by not too much energy stored in the battery and must bear capacity to power also evening lights especially in the night where
people are fast asleep. Also comes up with an indicator system that the battery could come to last on the desired time because not charge enough by the solar cells.
Problem Being Addressed:
With this project the home owner could less on their power consumption especially in additional installation of security system and illuminating during rest time at night.
Target Consumers:
Home owners installing security system for protection of their houses during night time or no people at home
