The official launch for our dental drive begins TODAY and continues on until OCTOBER 31 !
Bring in toothbrushes and toothpaste for the kids in South Africa!
Hours will be given!
Making Strides Against Breast Cancer

The biggest event of this YEAR is probably Making Strides against Breast Cancer.
EVERYONE SHOULD SIGN UP!!!
The directions to sign up are on the table, so pick one up!

There will be a meeting on October 13 for all participants.
For this walk, we actually just walk the walk.
In order to participate, you must donate minimum $10 AND register online.
If you bring a family member, you can get DOUBLE HOURS IF your family member also registers and
donates.
T-Shirt order forms are available for the Making Strides walk those forms are due on the 13th as well.
There are three levels to HOSA Competition:
Regionals (February West Palm Beach @ Keiser University)
States (April Orlando @ Mariott World Center)
Internationals (June Orlando @ Disney Coronado Springs Resort)

How Much Does it Cost?
Regionals - $10 Registration Fee (Maybe more with bus)
States - $200ish but there is a lot of fundraising (4 nights in a hotel)
Internationals FREE! (Well not quite)
1st, 2nd Place at States
Which Event is Right For Me?
At the Comp meeting, there will be a lot more information for you to decide on a category.

HOSA Competition is a great way to get community service most students who compete and go to
states get ALL their hours for second semester.
