Welcome to the team and another year of football for you returning players.

I am excited to have the opportunity to be your coach again, and for the new
players, I am looking forward to getting to know you. We are going to have
an exciting year of football ahead of us! Heres some basic information that
we as coaches have gathered form from meetings and other resources.
Philosophy: my coaching philosophy is to make an environment that will aid
the athletes to learn and develop on the field and off of it. This is a game so
teaching my athletes sportsmanship and how to have fun, as well as that its
not all about winning but more so it is about the experiences and the love of
the game. I would like to have a competitive environment that will allow the
athletes to set achievable goals but at the same time giving everything they
have got. When they have nothing left , they will learn to lean on their family
and coaches to help them go farther than ever could on their own.
Goals for the season: The goal is to build teamwork, new friends, and have
fun. We will be spending a lot of time at practices and games over the next
couple of months, so I am hoping to create a family environment for the
players and parents. We will be doing a lot of team building activities not
only to learn how to work as a team but to all so build our future leaders.
Football goals for the season: all athletes will know the proper form for
tackling. With all of the concussions that have been happing in football it is
important that all athletes know how to make a well-formed tackle and not
only to keep them safe but the other athletes on the field as well.
Rules:
1. No fighting , if there is a problem see a coach to help resolve the
conflict
2. Do not be late
3. Eyes and ears when coaches are talking
4. Dont be afraid to ask questions
5. Have fun

Parent information: I will be communicating with you the parent and the
athletes in a couple of different ways the first will be handouts like this one
to let you and the athlete know what activities, fundraisers and general
information about the team are planned. The next form of communication
will be the email I will be attaching coaches emails along with athletic
department and the trainers so you will be able to make appointments to
talk with them, we are busy people so we will try and answer your emails in a
timely manner. We as coaches, athletic department, and trainers are
available if you schedule an appointment with us below along with the emails
I will post hours we will be available for calls and meetings.
