so to define these termes a branch represents a single element in a circuit so t
his includes power sources, reistors and all the other elements that youll enco
unter such as capacitors and inductors
it is important to know however that a branch does not include that are just wir
e connectors there has to be an element for it to be considered as a branch
a node is the point of connection between multiple branches so if we have two or
more branches and they connected to each other at one point that point will be
called the node
and finally a loop
and the way we can relate the three is through the basic relation the number of
branches is equal to the number of loops plus the number of nodes minus 1
