How Is My Child
Chosen For Title I
Services?
Three things are considered:
! School performance
! Assessments
! Teacher Observation
Your child may receive help for several weeks, for
several months, or for the entire year depending on
progress and the need for assistance.

How Does Title I Help My Child?


" With small-group reading instruction from a
certified teacher, that is in addition to the
regular reading class.
" Title I teachers use a wide variety of
instructional materials and strategies to help
your child improve reading skills.

Title I provides money for:
Teachers
Teaching materials
Parent Involvement Activities

# Visit your childs classroom.
