Evansville K9 Unit noticed a tan passenger car backing down Gum St toward WR
BROWN WAY that had substantial damage to the rear end. It appeared that the
vehicle had just been involved in an accident. The vehicle then went south and
disregarded a stop sign. The officer then tried to make a traffic stop on the car and
it fled south through the south side of Evansville. The vehicle ran numerous stop
signs and nearly struck numerous vehicles. The car was all over the road due to the
damage and reckless driving. The driver eventually bailed out of the moving
vehicle and took off running while the car drove through a yard and crashed into a
fence. The suspect ran about a block and was apprehended by the canine unit and
fellow officers.
The driver was found to have an outstanding warrant for First degree intentional
homicide(attempt) out of Wisconsin.
The driver was transported to Deaconess Hospital for treatment and then to the
VCCC

Officers were dispatched to the above address in reference to a Domestic


Battery in Progress. On scene, we spoke to both parties who gave conflicting
accounts of the situation. The female party stated she was approximately 1 month
pregnant and was found to have visible injuries and a complaint of pain that she
stated were a result of the suspect hitting her with a cell phone.

We were dispatched to a subject refusing to leave at 1500 SE Riverside Dr.


Resident stated suspect was kicking on their door. As we arrived, Ofc. McKinney
and Ofc. Bond observed the subject fall over a chain link fence. We could smell
on odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from his person. Suspect blew a .17 on a
PBT. Due to being a danger to himself and/or others he was arrested for Public
Intoxication.

Victim came to Records and stated that while they were at Woodland park
ordering food someone stole her purse out of her unlocked-windows down vehicle
with the listed items in property. Victim did not see who done this, but the Child
support card was used at 8 different places and used up $500. Most of the places
listed should have video.

KINGERY, J. T.

I was contacted by UPS security director reference a suspicious package on listed


date time. I arrived and was told that the I/O, Willie Wright, tried to ship a
package that was suspicious. I placed the package along a wall with several other
packages. When I ran my k9 partner, he passed by all the other packages except
the suspect package. My k9 stopped at the package and gave a positive alert. We
obtained a warrant for the package and seized it. After getting the warrant we
found that the package contained 3,100 dollars in US currency that was wrapped
up in aluminum foil. Evidence was placed into evidence. Investigation will
follow.

Stewart, Samantha Nichole (B F, 19) VICTIM of Battery- Hff Domestic [am] (C), at
4580 Spring Valley Rd, Evansville, IN, between 10:38, 10/28/2016 and 10:48,

Officers were dispatched to 4580 Spring Valley Rd for a domestic violence in
progress. The caller, who lived below the offenders apartment called to report she
could hear subjects fighting. The reporter stated that it sounded bad. Officer
arrived on scene and eventually forced entry with the approval of the on duty
supervisor. The suspect, Cameron T. Williams was arrested for domestic battery
and served two outstanding misdemeanor warrants.
The female victim was also arrested for false informing and she was also served
two outstanding misdemeanor warrants.

Officers were dispatched to 1124 Ravenswood Dr in reference to a stolen


handgun from a vehicle. Officers met with the victim who stated he noticed his
black .40 cal Smith & Wesson handgun along with 2 black 12 round magazines
holding hollow point rounds missing from his vehicle. The victim stated his Silver
Chevy Equinox (IN plate 867LUZ) was parked in the driveway when his wife
heard a car door close at approximately 2330 on 10/27/2016. The victim stated he
left the vehicle unlocked so he checked and noticed the handgun missing as well
as his social security card and IN concealed carrying permit. The victim stated the
last time he saw the firearm was Sunday 10/23/2016 at approximately 1200. The
victim was given a case number and instructions on how to get duplicates of his
missing documents as well as how to report the serial number due to not having it
at the time of the report.

I was dispatched to the Circle-K at US41 and Lynch in reference to a Criminal
Mischief Report. On scene, I spoke to the victim, later identified as R. Fridy.
Fridy stated she and her boyfriend, later identified as I. Johnson, had been arguing
earlier in the day. Fridy stated she arrived at Johnson`s work , American Window
at 2715 Lynch.
Fridy stated when she arrived, she learned that Johnson`s car was dead and
offered to help him. Fridy stated Johnson demanded that she take him to an
apartment of someone that she did not know. Friday told me that due to Johnson`s
demand, she told him she was not going to take him anywhere and slammed the
driver`s door of his car while Johnson was sitting in it.
Fridy continued that Johnson then got out of his car, walked over to her car
and proceeded to kick the passenger side window causing it to shatter. Fridy
added that Johnson continued to kick the passenger side front and rear door
causing dents in them.
Fridy told me that she told Johnson she was calling the police and tried to dial
9-1-1 from the driver`s side of her car. Fridy stated that when Johnson noticed she
was using her phone, he dove through the passenger side of the car and out of the
driver`s side as he chased her around the car. Friday stated Johnson was able to
get the phone out of her hand after a brief struggle and he then broke it.
I looked at Fridy`s car and notice the passenger side front window had been

I was dispatched to this area for someone lighting clothes on fire. When I
arrived neighbors pointed me to a small pile of female clothing that was
smoldering in the street in front of 2055 Helmuth Ct. Neighbors said a black male
was burning clothing and yelling at a white female as she left on foot. He then left
on a bicycle. Officers spotted him on a bicycle at Spring and Helmuth Ct and he
fled between the houses.
The suspects grandmother came outside and told us his name. She said he lives
here at 2055 with his mother. The mother is at work at Meade Johnsons. She said
he was slamming doors in the house and screaming at someone. She does not
know the name of the female.
Another person flagged down Officer Sitzman and said she gave the white
female a ride to a house. The person said the boyfriend beat her up. She didn`t
have any names.

I was dispatched to 1004 SE First St on a subject refusing to leave. Dispatch
advised that there was a white male wearing a dark colored pull over that was
knocking at her door. She said that she didn`t know who the man was. She told
dispatch that she had locked herself in the bathroom. When I arrived dispatch had
caller come to the door. I asked if she knew where the male subject was at and she
replied he was last in the alley behind her house. When I walked around the house
I saw subject standing in the alley. I asked subject/victim why he was there
knocking and he advised that he gave a guy money to buy a handgun and the guy
walked into the house and never came out.

I was dispatched to a hit and run at S Weinbach Ave and Monroe Ave. When I
arrived I spoke with reporter who was parked at 1216 S Weinbach Ave, Lexbrook
Apartments. Reporter works for the Evansville water and sewer utility department.
He advised that he had parked in the parking lot of Lexbrook Apts. He said that he
was checking for leaks in the apartment complex. He said that when he returned to
his vehicle he saw that there was damage that was done to the driver side rear of
his truck. Reporter was given the case number to the report.
The water and sewer department had an employee come out and photograph the
damage to the truck.

with the IO. The IO states that the suspect said peoples were going to pay. The
suspect then picked up a concrete block and threw it through a back window of the

store on Oakley was the offender. Officer made contact with the subject. As
officer was getting ready to pat the subject down the reporter came out and said he
was not the offender. He was released.
Officer spoke to the reporter and viewed the video. The offender selected a bag
of chips from the shelf and concealed them in his jacket. The offender walks past
all points of sale without paying for the chips. The offender is in the store for
several minutes and it is believed that he got other merchandise.
The offender was a black male 30-40 yoa, wearing a red tshirt, black zip up
sweatshirt and grey pants.

The victim left to get a drink from the convenient store and secured the door to the
apartment. When the victim arrived back home and unlocked the door and went in,
the victim noticed the listed items gone.
The victim had an extra key hanging on the wall and a couple of days ago that key
went missing.

Suspect vehicle was a Silver Jeep Cherokee and it was stopped at the STOP sign
at Tippecanoe and Green River Rd. Witness was behind it. The Jeep pulled out
onto Green River Rd and attempted to go south.
Victim vehicle is a dark gray Lexus, and was north bound on Green River Rd in
the inside lane. The two vehicles hit in the road. The Jeep continued south on
Green River. Another witness called 9-1-1 and said that he believes the suspect
driver and passenger were two black females. He was following them until
dispatcher told him not to.
A bystander saw the front plate from the suspect`s vehicle, an Illinois plate in
the road where the debris field was. The plate matched the silver Jeep description.
The IO was a passenger in the victims Lexus and in the rear passenger seat. He
complained of pain to his right shoulder from the accident.

Officer was dispatched to N Green River Rd at E. Virginia St for a property


damage accident. Dispatched advised one car was in the left turn lane and the other
involved vehicle was on the lot of Long Horn.
Officer arrived on scene and was greeted by the driver of the Buick. Mr. Garrett
stated he was stopped at the light facing east when a vehicle on his right hit his
vehicle. Mr. Garrett stated the female was younger and that he got a decent look at
her face.
Mr. Garrett identified the driver as the registered owner from a photo in RMS. The
suspect vehicle was towed to Tri-State Towing and a hold was placed for hit and
run.

Vann Ave. Victim was driving in the far right straight lane when she was hit by a
Gray Jeep Cherekee vehicle. The vehicle had went around the victim on the
shoulder and continued east. The hit run vehicle made a right on Vann according
to the witness. Plate information was not able to be obtained.
There was no injuries and the victim was given a case number.

months. On today`s date, he arrived at his car and found that parts had been stolen

south. The suspect vehicle backed into her parked car. The suspect failed to
provide the necessary information to the vehicle and drove off from the business
going west on Lincoln Ave. The victim was given the case number and advised to
follow up with her insurance if she wished.

by a subject on a motorcycle. Victim stated the suspect briefly stopped and a
witness helped the suspect jump start his motorcycle. Victim stated when the
suspect got his motorcycle started he fled the scene without providing any
insurance information. Suspect was last seen traveling eastbound on Lincoln Ave.

mischief report. The victim, Tashanna Adams, advised the offender smashed the
windshield and windows of her vehicle with a hammer. Adams said the offender

was her ex-boyfriend and there was an ongoing dispute involving the vehicle.
Adams said the offender had previously taken her vehicle and hidden it in
Henderson, KY. She was able to get the vehicle back from the offender. However,
he showed up at the address to retrieve some suits from the backseat. Afterward,
the offender used a hammer to smash the front windshield, front left window, front
right window and rear right window.
The offender left the scene prior to officer arrival. Adams was enroute to the
offender`s address for "retribution" when officers arrived on scene. Adams was not
cooperative and said she was going to do what she had to do.

On 10/28/2016 at approximately 1950 hours, officers were dispatched to 21 E.


Oregon St. apt. A in reference to a burglary report. Upon arrival, officers spoke
with victim, Gary Pierpont, who stated that someone kicked in his door and took
selective items from his residence. Pierpont stated he left his residence at
approximately 1800 hours. Pierpont stated when he returned home, he observed
that his screen door was open, in which he stated was not when he left, and his
front door was kicked. Pierpont stated that cabinet doors in the kitchen had been
disturbed as well. Pierpont stated that a tablet and some cigarette rolling papers
had been taken. There is no suspect information at this time.
Crime scene arrived to the residence and processed the scene.

IO#1 was playing on the hill at the Reitz bowl. He advised that he tripped over
one of the large rocks that was laying on the ground. IO#1 said that he then moved
the rock over. He said that when he moved the rock it started rolling down the hill.
IO#2`s vehicle was parked down at the bottom of the hill, inside the field house
area. The rock struck the driver rear side putting a large dent in the vehicle. IO#1`s
mother was called and given the case number. IO#2 was also given the case
number to the report.

The victim stated the suspect has been living with her for about a month. They
haven`t been getting along lately, so she told him he needed to get his stuff and get
out. When the victim arrived home tonight, she went inside and the suspect was
not there. When she went back to where she parked her vehicle about 15 minutes
later, it was gone. The victim`s extra set of keys went missing last week, and the
victim suspected the suspect took them, which is how he was able to take her car
tonight.

report. When officers arrived, we spoke with the victim who stated he was at a
friend`s apartment on the 9th floor partying. The victim stated everything was fine
until females showed up to the party. The victim then stated his friend, the
offender, began yelling at him. The victim stated at one point the offender
grabbed a knife and put it to his neck from behind. He stated the offender
threatened, "I will fucking kill you!" The victim then left the apartment. He had

The victim stated he did not know his friend`s name, but believed it may be
Jim. He also stated he thinks his nickname is "Red." The victim was very
intoxicated and verbally aggressive toward officers. The victim stated the offender
is an old, W/M, wearing a blue shirt. The offender had no other information about
his "friend." The victim also stated he didnt know what the knife looked like, but
believed it was 4" long. The victim was very uncooperative and not forthcoming
with relevant information. The victim stated he did not know which apartment
number belonged to the offender. He stated there were other people in the
apartment who witnessed the incident, but he did not provide officers with any of
their names either. The victim was offered an opportunity to leave his apartment if
he felt like it was unsafe. The victim became agitated with officers and stated that
we could not make him leave his residence.
Officers went to the 9th floor to attempt to locate a party. Officers were unable
to locate any apartments that sounded as if there was a party inside. A detective
was contacted and informed officers to just complete a report since there was very
little information given. Central dispatch attempted to locate a "Red" or "Jim" in
RMS who lived in the apartment complex on the 9th floor. Dispatch could not
find anyone who matched those descriptors.
