RATIONALE

The world is constantly changing. Each new generation brings their


own ideas, experiences, outlook and identity to the table. Throughout
time and across cultures, artists have explored the identity of
themselves and the identity of others in their work.

UNIT/LESSON VINGNETTE

Day 1: Introduction (see storyboard below)

Day 3: Tutorial of Vimeo and Cameo
Day 4: Brainstorm/Plan/Research

pairs, or in groups of 3! Will they get to choose the
group, or will I assign it?)***
Day 5-6: Create storyboard. Plan which shots can be recorded
during class, and which shots need to be completed outside of
class
Day 7-10: Record
Day 11-12: Review Cameo, and edit
Day 13: Peer Feedback & Teacher Feedback
Day 14-15: Refine video and upload to Vimeo
Day 16: Watch party: present video to classmates (ask
permission to show to other classes in the school)
Day 17: Reflect
