Hex is a relatively lanky, tall individual with a boyish face and fair complexion. His hair is fairly short but messy due to the fact
that he rarely combs it. His clothing typically consist of jeans that are slightly on the tigher end, but not quite skinny jeans and
almost always longer sleeved shirts to cover up the scars on his arms. Armor selection is typically fairly standard light gear.

Being a teenager is hard, especially in the sixth world. Homework, tests, teachers, sexualtiy, sex, corperate overlords, random
gangers. It's a lot to deal with. But most teenagers manage just find and only come out with mild anxiety and a handful of
repressed memories.
Issac Blackburn is not most teenagers. Being awakened, while not necessarily rare, is still fairly uncommon. Issac had never
figured himself to be particularly special. His grades were average, he wasn't particularly gifted in any sports, and he was as
socially awkward as you'd expect a sixteen year old boy to be. For the most part he assuemd he'd maybe go to college, get a
job that was ever so slightly above wageslave status, and maybe get married.
Life did not agree with these life goals for Issac, and manifested these views as a violent surge of magic in the middle of his
history midterm sophomore year. History, being probably his weakest subject, had a tendancy to unnerve Issac and make him
anxious. As he delved into a full blown anxiety attack in the midst of this exam, chaotic spurts of magical energy began lashing
through the classroom, striking and severly wounding a large number of his classmates as well as his own body. Needless to
say, seeing this happen only furthered the anxiety, and amped up the problem in a circular fashion.
As the storm of emotion and magic climaxed, most of the class having been either killed or evacuated, magic control collapsing
down on the school, a voice spoke to him in the back of his mind, "You are destined for greater things than the likes of this
Issac Blackburn. Compose yourself, rise, and flee to fight another day." A soothing sensation spread through Issac's body and
the magic subsided, and he followed the instructions. He ran.
Unbeknownst to him, spirits sent by the voice in his head helped to fend off the magic control force that had been sent in.
With their help, he managed to escape their grasp, then promptly crash in a back alley when the adrenaline rush finally wore
off.
When he awoke, it was in an unfamiliar bed in an unfamiliar house, his body screaming in pain and unable to move. Panic set
in once more, and the magic followed. After a single spell lashed out, a large, elderly, dark skinned woman burst through the
room and quite literally slapped some sense into him. Once Issac composed himself, she explained that she ran a home for
youth on the run from the law and that he was welcome to stay as long as he liked as long as he provided for himself. The
voice from before spoke to him again, "Trust her. She will lead you to your true potential." Hesitantly, he did.
It wasn't long before Issac's face was plastered all over the news, with varying headlines and bounties. Issac new he couldn't
go back to his old life. And yet he knew nothing of how to take care of himself, let alone how to handle his newfound powers.
The lady who had offered him residence also offered him work in a line no one could track. She warned him it would be
dangerous and that it would change him. For a third time, the voice spoke to him, "Accept her offer. It will ready you for what
you must one day face." And so he did.
Issac, or Hex as he was told to go by in the shadows, has spent the past several months accepting various jobs to earn his
way while avoiding capture, and has started taking to his newfound powers. While he is able to call upon the magic at will, he
still needs work with dialing the power of them appropriately.
