INTRUDER/LOCK-DOWN PROCEDURES
Signal = PA Announcement: Code word
When a code word is called it is because an intruder is in the
building or a threat to safety exists within the building and the
following should take place:

Lock doors
Close and cover windows
Close blinds and keep students away from doors and windows
Maintain a calm environment
If gunshot or explosion is heard, get everyone on the floor
Contact the office only if you have an emergency situation use
intercom first
Remain in classrooms and containment areas until notified otherwise
Bathrooms are NOT available
Students in hallways will be brought into the nearest classroom
Students outside will be moved quickly into the building/ cafeteria
Take attendance and wait for the office to call for attendance report
No one will leave the room until the all clear is given.
