Makanan Adalah Bahan
Good morning everybody, let me introduce ourself my name Carlos Darma Dwikita and my
partner Arel Fernaliz. We are from Food Technology faculty of Soegijapranata Catholic
University. Food is a substance, usually originates from animals or plants, eaten by living things
to provide energy and nutrients. In general foodstuff contains several elements or compounds
such as water, carbohydrates, proteins, fats, vitamins, enzymes, pigments and others. Every
living creature needs food. Without food, living things would be difficult in doing daily
activities. Food can help people in getting energy, helping the body and brain. Eating nutritious
foods will help the growth of human beings, both brain and body. Ive divided our presentation
into three main parts, there are :

Now Ill discuss our first point in this part of my presentation, I want to discuss about Definition
of healthy and nutrious foods.
1. Definition of healthy and nutritious foods
Healthy food is food that meets health requirements and if eaten can not cause disease and
poisoning. While nutritious food are foods that contain substances that are required by the body
in sufficient quantity. Nutritious food need not be expensive, but the important thing is the
substance-zatt contained therein.
Well Ive told you about my first point, let me turn to my second one, it is about Healthy foods
and mismatched.
2. Healthy foods and mismatched
a. Protein and Fat
The combination of both of these foods become mismatched for not given extra fat. Elements of
the fat contained in the food served to inhibit protein digestion in order to have enough time to
interact with stomach acid. Examples of foods with a combination of proteins and fats are:
1. The meat (chicken, beef, fish) are roasted, baked, boiled or steamed
c. Eating Regularly.
Skipping meals will only make hunger control is lost, even the fact be the result of excessive
hunger. When you feel hungry, it also means that you forget about the nutrients in your food.
Eating snacks between meals is the only way that can help you overcome hunger, but do not eat a
snack excessive.

Now, well explain about a graphic of people who consume healthy and nutritious foods from the
result of survey on one thousand people. In 2005, 900 people consumed bread and rice for the
general food. And than in 2006, 800 people consumed fruit and vegetable in the second choose.
Meanwhile, in 2007, 450 people consume meat, fish , egg and beans is low.
Well, this brings us to the end of our presentation. Just to summarize the main points of my talk
are :

In my opinion, we should consumtion the healthy food to safe our healthy from disease. And
