Daily Packets
Every day, students will receive a daily packet. The packet includes the
objectives for the day, a warm up, and any learning activities for the
day. These packets count for 25 points each. Each packet is stored in
the Chemistry binder and can be used to study for unit and final
exams. Regular binder checks occur throughout the semester to
ensure maintenance of this crucial tool.
Meeting Deadlines
I have extremely high expectations for you when it comes to working
hard and completing work in a timely manner. If you do not complete
your work on time, it loses purpose and value. Please carefully read the
expectations below and ask any clarifying questions you may have.

Absences and Late Work

It is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to find out what you missed and make up
all work.

If you have an excused absence, homework can receive a stamp

by the NEXT class period and not considered late.
Labs and activities need to be made up at lunch or after school
by the NEXT class period. Bring in a classmate to walk you
through the missed lab.
Multiday absences: If you miss one day, you get one day. If you
miss two days, you get two days. Etc. Miss one get one rule.
If you miss on a quiz or test day, it is expected that you talk to
me prior to or on the day of the absence with the reason for your
absence and the exact day you will make it up. This includes
athletics and other school sponsored activities.
