We regret to inform you that you have not been selected as a Japanese Government (Monbukagakusho.
MEXT) Scholarship Student.
Outlined herein are the conditions for enrollment. Please read this document thoroughly as it contains
important information regarding the necessary procedures for entering Tokyo Institute of Technology.
1. Admission Procedures
1.1. Required Payments
You will be a privately financed student when you enroll at Tokyo Institute of Technology. As such, you
are required to make the following payments by the dates designated herein:
Application Fee 30,000 Japanese Yen
Admission Fee 282,000 Japanese Yen
Annual Thition 535,800 Japanese Yen
(Admission fee and annual tuition are subject to change.)
*The amounts indicated above do not include bank charges.
1.1.1. Application Fee Payment Deadline: June 10, 2016
The application fee must be paid to Tokyo Institute of Technology by June 10, 2016. If you fail to do so.
your admission will be cancelled. Please note that your visa application process cannot begin until
payment of the application fee is confirmed. Please make the payment as soon as possible, as the visa
process is lengthy.
There are two methods for paying the application fee:

Selamat sekali lagi pada masuk ke Tokyo Institute of Technology.
Kami menyesal untuk memberitahu Anda bahwa Anda tidak dipilih sebagai
Pemerintah Jepang (Monbukagakusho. MEXT) Beasiswa Mahasiswa.
Diuraikan di sini adalah kondisi untuk pendaftaran. Silakan baca dokumen ini secara
menyeluruh karena berisi informasi penting mengenai prosedur yang diperlukan
untuk memasuki Tokyo Institute of Technology.
1. Prosedur Pendaftaran
1.1. Pembayaran diperlukan
Anda akan menjadi mahasiswa dibiayai swasta ketika Anda mendaftarkan diri di
Tokyo Institute of Technology. Dengan demikian, Anda diminta untuk melakukan
pembayaran berikut dengan tanggal yang ditunjuk di sini:

1.1.1. Batas Pendaftaran Biaya Pembayaran: 10 Juni 2016
Biaya pendaftaran harus dibayar ke Tokyo Institute of Technology pada 10 Juni 2016.
Jika Anda gagal untuk melakukannya. penerimaan Anda akan dibatalkan. Harap
dicatat bahwa proses aplikasi visa Anda tidak bisa dimulai sampai pembayaran

After completing your payment, please send a copy of the Payment Verification page as an
email attachment to the Admission Division so that we can confirm the date of payment.
Tokyo Institute of Technology will NOT ACCEPT payments made by CASH or CHECKS.
b) Temporary payment by your academic supervisor on your behalf
If you choose this method, please consult with your academic supervisor in advance.
1.1.2. Admission and Tuition Payments
You are required to pay the admission fee and tuition to Tokyo Institute of Technology at the
time of the On-site Admission Procedures described below.
However, Tokyo Institute of Technology exempts a certain number of qualified students from
paying the admission fee and tuition each semester. If you wish to be considered for these
fee exemptions, you must complete and submit the necessary exemption application forms
by the deadline stated in the document enclosed in the admission package separately sent
to your academic supervisor in early September 2016.
Tokyo Institute of Technology offers a payment deferral option for qualifying applicants while
fee exemption requests are being processed. Under this option, you may postpone payment
of the admission fee and tuition until exemption selections are announced in early December
-

2016.
If you wish to apply for this payment deferral option, you must submit a set of required
documents as part of your admission procedures. If you are unable to do so, your academic
supervisor can act as your proxy and complete the admission procedures on your behalf.
Tokyo Institute of Technology will provide your academic supervisor with an outline of the
required documents in early September 2016. For further information, please contact your
academic supervisor directly.
1.2. Required On-site Admission Procedures: Thursday, September 15 and Friday, September
16, 2016
You are required to participate in the on-site admission procedures on September 15 and

halaman "Verifikasi Pembayaran" sebagai lampiran email ke Divisi Penerimaan
sehingga kita bisa memastikan tanggal pembayaran. Tokyo Institute of Technology
TIDAK akan MENERIMA pembayaran yang dilakukan oleh uang tunai atau cek.
b) pembayaran sementara oleh pembimbing akademis Anda atas nama Anda
Jika Anda memilih metode ini, silakan berkonsultasi dengan pembimbing akademis
Anda di muka.
1.1.2. Pendaftaran dan Biaya Pembayaran
Anda diminta untuk membayar biaya pendaftaran dan kuliah ke Tokyo Institute of
Technology pada saat di lokasi Prosedur Pendaftaran dijelaskan di bawah. Namun,
Tokyo Institute of Technology membebaskan sejumlah siswa yang memenuhi syarat
dari membayar biaya pendaftaran dan kuliah setiap semester. Jika Anda ingin
dipertimbangkan untuk pembebasan biaya ini, Anda harus melengkapi dan
menyerahkan formulir aplikasi pembebasan diperlukan oleh batas waktu yang
tercantum dalam dokumen yang disertakan dalam paket masuk secara terpisah
dikirim ke pembimbing akademis Anda pada awal September 2016.
Tokyo Institute of Technology menawarkan pilihan penangguhan pembayaran untuk
kualifikasi pelamar sementara permintaan pembebasan biaya sedang diproses. Di

sampai Pilihan pembebasan diumumkan pada awal Desember 2016.

academic supervisor in early September 2016. If you are unable to attend due to a late arrival in Japan or
other valid reason, a proxy can complete the admission procedures on your behalf. Please contact your
academic supervisor for more information.
1.3. Certificates
You are required to submit the following certificates as part of the admission procedures even if you have
already submitted them at the time of application. It is highly recommended that you prepare these
documents in advance.
Certificate of Graduation (original or certified copy)
Official Academic Transcript (original or certified copy)
2. Visa
All international students who plan to study at Tokyo Institute of Technology are required to obtain a
Student status visa. It is your responsibility to ensure that you obtain your visa prior to the program start
date.
There are two methods to apply for a student visa. Please be sure to inform us which of the below
methods you will pursue in applying for your visa. Complete the enclosed Pledge Statement and submit it
to us as an email attachment by June 10, 2016.
a) Applying through your academic supervisor at Tokyo Institute of Technology
If you choose this method, please ask your academic supervisor prior to beginning the visa application
process. Should you be unable to obtain consent from your academic supervisor to sponsor your visa
application, it is recommended that you select method b).
b) Applying through a legal representative
Under this method, Tokyo Institute of Technology will appoint an administrative scrivener who is
affiliated with Tokyo Institute of Technology as your legal representative for your visa application
(hereinafter, the Representative) and provide the Representative with your email address, and the
Representative will contact you directly. The Representative will prepare the documents necessary to
apply for a student visa on your behalf. You will be charged approximately 21,600 Japanese yen for this
service (subject to change).
Once Tokyo Institute of Technology has confirmed your selection of method a) or b) and has received
your Pledge Statement, we will process an application for your Certificate of Eligibility for Status of
Residence (COE). This application is the first step in the process for obtaining your visa. After the
Immigration Bureau has approved your application, they will

2. Visa
Semua siswa internasional yang berencana untuk belajar di Tokyo Institute of
Technology yang diperlukan untuk mendapatkan "Student" visa status. Ini adalah
tanggung jawab Anda untuk memastikan bahwa Anda mendapatkan visa Anda
sebelum tanggal program mulai.

b) Menerapkan melalui perwakilan hukum
Dengan metode ini, Tokyo Institute of Technology akan menunjuk ahli menulis
administrasi yang berafiliasi dengan Tokyo Institute of Technology sebagai
perwakilan hukum Anda untuk aplikasi visa Anda (selanjutnya disebut "Perwakilan")

embassy or consulate in your home country for specific details on the visa process.
3. Dormitories
Information on dormitory accommodations will be announced in late August 2016.
However, please note that applicants who have previously resided in Japan are not
eligible for dormitory accommodations.
Should you have any inquiries regarding dormitory accommodations, please email
the Student Support Division at gak.sei@iim.titech.ac.ip. When sending inquiries,
please also include your name and the name of your intended program at Tokyo
Institute of Technology.
4. Declining Admission Offer
If you decide not to enroll in this program, please promptly notify your academic

supervisor and the Admission Division of your intent to decline the offer of
admission in writing by email or by post.
Even in such case, you will be responsible for paying the following fee by the
designated date:

Payment Deadline June 10, 2016

The aforementioned items comprise the admission procedures for Tokyo Institute of

3. Asrama
Informasi tentang akomodasi asrama akan diumumkan pada akhir Agustus 2016.
Namun, perlu diketahui bahwa pelamar yang sebelumnya sudah berada di Jepang
tidak memenuhi syarat untuk akomodasi asrama. Jika Anda memiliki pertanyaan
mengenai akomodasi asrama, silahkan email Divisi Dukungan Mahasiswa di

gak.sei@iim.titech.ac.ip. Saat mengirim pertanyaan, silahkan juga mencakup nama

dan nama program yang Anda inginkan di Tokyo Institute of Technology.
4. Penurunan Penawaran Pendaftaran
Jika Anda memutuskan untuk tidak mendaftarkan diri dalam program ini, silakan
segera memberitahukan supervisor akademik dan Divisi Penerimaan niat Anda
untuk menolak tawaran masuk dalam menulis melalui email atau melalui pos.
Bahkan dalam kasus tersebut, Anda akan bertanggung jawab untuk membayar
biaya berikut dengan tanggal yang ditunjuk:
