NARRATIVE REPORT On The Last Day of Inset

Training
TOPIC-Developing the 14 Domains Literature-Based Lesson Walk Through
Facilitator: Rechilda D. Gonzales

On the morning of the 27th day of October 2016 at 8 oclock

we started the last day session of the District Inset Training. 19
grade two teachers participated in the event.
This session was formally opened when Maam Marites
Atutubo, the school principal assigned to grade two teachers
introduced the speaker of the said event. And after that it was
followed by the facilitator Mrs. Rechilda D. Gonzales. For a better
understanding about the introduction on Developing the 14
Domains Literature-Based Lesson Walk Through, with the Video
Presentation of Dr. Felicitas E. Pado, a retired professor of the
University of the Philippines and a DepEd Consultant for the K to
12 program. This session presented with a week long lesson plan
where the different 14 domains of literature are introduced and
developed in an integrated way. The specific domains that are
develop in a particular lesson or activity. It developed literacy
skills and reflection on teaching learning experiences.
For every video presented, participants were given a focus
questions for them to answer and were discussed right after the
facilitator. For the application each participants share ideas
learned on the video presented in a group work activity.
The discussion ended at exactly 11:30 and all of the
participants gained more insights on Developing the 14 Domains
Literature-Based Lesson Walk Through.
