speaking country that is both a republic and
a democracy. It is one where ultimate
authority and power is derived from the
citizens, and the government itself is run
through elected officials.

South Korea

DICTATORSHIP
A form of government which is ruled by a one
person (dictator).

Eg. North Korea, China, Cuba, Cameroon,


Chad, Vietnam and Egypt

ABSOLUTE MONARCHY
Absolute Monarchy is a form of government
where the monarch has absolute power
among his or her people. An absolute
monarch holds unrestricted political power
Eg. Brunei, Swaziland, Saudi Arabia and
Oman

ANARCHY

A form of government in which a priest rules


in the name of a God.

A state with no form of government or a noneffective government to rule the country. Due
to absence of government, there is absolute
freedom

Eg. Vatican City, Iran
