To Whom it May Concern,
It is with great pleasure that I am writing this letter of recommendation
for Olivia Scheper. I had the honor of working as Olivias supervisor at
The Youth Learning Institutes Camp Bob Cooper where she worked as
a Summer Camp Counselor among many other things during the
Summer of 2016. Camp Bob Cooper is a camp that runs year-round
with many different types of programs happening simultaneously.
Olivia exhibited a great amount of flexibility in working with the
different summer programs offered at Camp Bob Cooper.
As a 4H Summer Camp Counselor, Olivia was responsible for the
supervision of 8-12 campers at a time. The age groups that attend the
4H Summer Camp range from eight to fourteen years old and Olivia
made connections with the children on a fun, yet professional level.
This connection made it easy for Olivia to be a positive role model
because the campers had so much respect for her. Olivia has such a
lively spirit and positivity that are infectious to those around her.
Olivia also worked with our Rental Program as a facilitator for the Low
Ropes Team Building as well as the High Ropes Adventure Courses.
Olivia was responsible for the safety of the participants while they were
partaking in the activities as well as the mechanics of belaying
climbers on the 45-foot Rock Wall. Olivia exhibited exceptional
understanding of the process necessary to have a successful session
on the Adventure Courses.
Olivia is ambitious, optimistic, and hard working. She learns very
quickly and is able to step into multiple different roles when needed. I
had such a great experience working with Olivia and enjoyed watching
her grow in the position. I think Olivia has a very bright future ahead of
her and I believe she will accomplish many great things.
