SB INCIDENT REPORT [201 }6-00269028
On October 14,2016 | responded to 100 Culver Road (Cobbs Hill) for the report of a harassment.
Upon my arrival, I spoke with Clarise Coleman (PK) and she told me that her autistic non-verbal child
‘Chase Coleman (V) was pushed by an older white male who left the scene.
Coleman did not witness this herself. Coleman told me that Collin Thompson (W) witnessed it and
told her about it.
|| spoke with Thompson, she stated that she was. running in the park around the reservoir when she
saw a young black male in he middle of the road (Chase Coleman), and older white male got out of
his vehicle (later identified as Martin Macdonald (S)) and approached Chase Goleman and Pushed
‘him to the ground. After the Macdonald pushed him to the ground he yelled “get out of here.”
When I spoke with Glarise Coleman about Chase being in the road, she said that he was running
the Purple and Gold invitational and that is why he was in the road at the time. Clarise went on to say
that Chase is unable to communicate and wouldn't understand what Macdonald was attempting to
tell him.
Clarise Coleman also told me that Kris Van Metter (NI) witnessed the incident but | was unable to get
a hold of him and left a messages.
| contacted dispatch and they sent an A zone car (621C) aut to to speak with
Macdonald. After speaking with Macdonald Deputy Shepard told me that Macdonald told him that he
‘admitted to pushing Chase to the ground. When Deputy Shepard asked him why he did that, he
replied that he thought Chase was going to mug his wife and take her purse. Macdonald's wife was
sitting in the front passenger seat at the time of the incient. When Deputy Shepard asked him why he
thought that Macdonald told him that some youths had broke into his car recently and that crossed
him mind, Macdonald went on to say that Chase wasn't responding te him telling him to move out of
{the road.
NARRATIVE
‘attempted to make contact with Macdonald and left a message on his answering machine.
