CT STUDY OF HEAD
Infratentorial

Cerebellopontine angle and prepontine cisterns are seen normally.

Fourth ventricle is normal in size and midline in location.

Cerebellar parenchyma and brain stem appears to be normal.

Supratentorial

Hyperdense collection of blood density is seen along inner table of skull in left
parieto-occipital region .The maximum thickness measures 10mm.

Blood collection is seen along left leaf of tentorium and posterior interhemispheric
fissure.

Basal cisterns are seen normally.

Third and left lateral ventricles are compressed.

Midline shift to right is seen.

Cortical sulci are prominent on right side.

OPINION:
LEFT PARIETO-OCCIPITAL SUBDURAL BLEED WITH MASS EFFECT AND
MIDLINE SHIFT.
SUBDURAL BLEED ALONG LEFT LEAF OF TENTORIUM AND POSTERIOR
INTERHEMISPHERIC FISSURE.
DIFFUSE CEREBRAL ATROPHY .
