B) REFLEXITRANSPARENT LEVEL GAUGES:These Level Gauges consist main chamber, cover plate, flat glasses,
glass Ifastening bolts & nuts, Process Connecting nipples, Process
Connection Material, Vent & Drain provision and optionally scale,
Illuminator, frost Shield, Mica Shield, Heating Jackets/Tube. Designed
with Top & Bottom, Side & Bottom connection orientations.
Both top & bottom and side & side connection orientation gauges are
laterally mounted to the side of the tank.
CHAMBER: Forged/Drawn bar is machined in accordance with
process parameters, oblong curves are made to fit the glass with
chamber. The glass is gastened to the chamber by "U" shape bolts
while in Transparent Gauges straight studs & Nurs are used for
fastening.
Size of toughened Glasses used are :340 x 30 x 17mm, 280 x 30 x 17mm, 250 x 30 x 17 mm
These are readily available in our stores :PAIR OF VALVES: Ours are of two types:
TRANSP ARENT
JO<.
These are designed with special feature that whenever glass breaks
the spillage of costly liquids/chemicals is prevented by the sudden
closure of valve line by ball check arrangement in built in values.
The valves are generally hydo-tested to the requirement and if ensured
leak proof, then ohly connected with gauges chamber thro nipples.

These are mounted to the tank for which it is designed. Open the bottom valve by rotating in anti-clockwise the valve
Handle slowly. The liquid will enter into the chamber. Next, open the top valve slowly as said above. Now there be will
pressure equilibrium established by communicating the Gauges with process tank by above function.
After, level liquid shown in the gauge, open the valve further so as the valve stem and portion go out of valve seat. This
is because the sudden spillage of liquid to prevent by ball check arrangement built in the valves.
The glass visibility is disturbed during continuous operation, may be cleaned by brush and drain out the liquid.
In cases where process parameters i.e. temp/press are too high imported toughened borosilicate glass confirming to
International Standard are used.
