To research what are the popular

Christmas gifts this year. Can they find
any connections between them? Is
there an average cost or do they vary
wildly? Are they aimed at specific age
ranges or again, do they vary. Make
notes as to all these points and
whether they think they are good
value for money?

Maths

For the next 3 weeks year 7 and 8's

will be working on fraction, decimals
and percentages with Mr Fletcher.
They will be converting, ordering and
calculating with. They will be working
with Mrs Chapman on equation during
this time. This weeks homework is on
converting between fractions,
decimals and percentages, pages 12
and 13.

Nicholson Y8 will be doing an
engineering activity with The
Smallpeice Trust. As a result, there will
be no homework from Mr Nicholson
this week, but there will be homework
from Mrs Harrison.
