GABON AND EQUATORIAL GUINEA: Are The Super Eagles Jinxed?

In 2012, Gabon and Equatorial Guinea co-hosted the Africa Cup of

Nations (AFCON) football tournament and Nigeria failed to qualify.
In 2015, Equatorial Guinea was the sole host and the Super
Eagles again failed to qualify.
In 2017, Gabon will host the tournament. Again, despite widely
acclaimed skilful performance and excellent mastery of the game,
Nigeria has been ousted.
Are the Super Eagles jinxed whenever the tournament goes to
either or both of these countries?

Over the years, we have had corporate bodies offering to sponsor

the national team and tagging themselves official this and
official that of the Super Eagles. For instance, we have had the
official milk and the official candy of the Super Eagles.
Perhaps the time has now come to have an official Baba lawo as
well of the Super EaglesBaba lawo in local parlance meaning
witch doctorto neutralize the magical powers of the spooks and
genies of Gabon and Equatorial Guinea, or elsewhere for that
matter.
