Kiwanis of Oakland Scholarship - awards scholarships of up to $6,000 for volunteer


work and academic achievement. DUE February 2017

Hispanic Scholarship Fund - Scholarships for students of Hispanic/ Latino


backgrounds - Many LARGE scholarships will open soon. Check frequently.

East Bay College Fund - East Bay College Fund grants scholarships of up to $16,000
to be awarded over four years! DUE February 2017

United Negro College Fund - UNCF manages various scholarship programs and
each program has its own eligibility criteria, open/close dates and required
documentation. Apply online.

Marcus Foster Scholarships - Graduating high school seniors who are pursuing
four-year institution, two-year institution, or trade/technical programs, are eligible to
apply. DUE March 2nd 2017

E4FC Scholarship Lists - Scholarships targeted for undocumented students but all
students can apply to scholarships on this list.

AEA Port of Oakland Scholarship - The Port of Oakland (AEA) scholarship has
awarded over $300,000 in scholarships - students from any background can apply.
DUE April 2017

seek funding to attend a summer program of their choice!
Wishbone is a nonprofit organization that helps high school
students pursue their passion by helping them attend
high-quality summer programs. You will need a non family
member advocate.

All supporting materials must be electronically submitted or

applications, we will invite 50-60 finalists to campus for a
mandatory Interview Weekend, schedule for Friday,
February 24 through Saturday, February 25, 2017.

The program's goals are to applaud young people who


already are making a positive difference in their towns and
neighborhoods, and to inspire others to think about how they
might contribute to their communities. Also receive a trip to
Washington, D.C. in May. Must have completed 50 hours of
service if age 14 and 100 hours of service age 15+

For graduating high school seniors who have a learning


disability. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be
able to provide current documentation of an identified learning
disability and demonstrate financial need.
The Robertson Scholars Program provides full tuition, room
and board, and mandatory fees for scholars at Duke and
UNC-Chapel Hill. Need 2 letters of recommendation. See
counselor if interested in this scholarship.
