I learned lots of valuable information when I moved out and lived on
my own. I learned to find a good place with an affordable rent, furnish the
place, and most importantly manage my money well. Before this project I
never would have considered planning where the furniture would go in
the place I was going to rent, I would have just tried to furnish it once I
had already moved in. I also never considered having a good amount of
money left over after paying bills to spend on fun things. I now know I
must plan where I will stay and make sure its near the university I go to,
plan my rent and how much I will have left over, and make sure I have
time to make friends and hang out with them when Im not working or
studying. This assignment helped me a lot in planning out my future, and I
think I am now much more prepared for it.
Two days out of my week when I am 25 would look something like this.
On Tuesday I would wake up at 8:00am, I would get breakfast, start up my
car, and head to my university. At around 1:30 or 2:00 I would be meeting
up with my friends and getting lunch with them, discussing what we want
to do over the weekend. At around 3:30 to 4:00 I would be going to work
my shift as a national lifeguard, and at 9:00 I would be at home getting
ready for the next day. On Saturday me and my friends would be putting
to action whatever we had discussed during the week, some of my friends
might be visiting relatives, or we would be spending the money we had
left over from that month. We could go boating, rock climbing, or just
hang out at home and relax. That would be what two days out of my week
when Im 25 would look like.
