A WOODLAND WALK

A walk through the woods and open spaces of
Highgate, Hornsey and Muswell Hill.
Meet outside East Finchley tube station
11-30am for an 11-45am start
What could be better at this time of year than a walk in the woods. Here we will walk
through no less than 3 ancient woods, woodland trails, sports fields, open spaces, 2 parks,
2 permaculture centres, the lower slopes of Ally Pally and a parkland walk along a disused
railway all in the space of 4 miles! A lot of this walk will be under branches on a carpet of
leaves. We will stop for lunch at The Queens Wood Caf (tasty freshly prepared food) and
tea in Priory Park Caf. Expect stunning views in places and maybe one or two surprises
along the way. We finish at the Odeon Muswell Hill where we catch the 102 bus back to
East Finchley. The pace will be leisurely and there are drop out points along the way. Dont
forget to bring a bus pass or Oyster card with you and also a bottle of water.
The cost of this walk is 3-50 per person. Please contact us to pre-order lunch and tea.
