We are proud to announce the official opening of our new annex
campus in Ocean City, MD. Just an hour outside Philadelphia, our new annex in Ocean City will serve to extend Central Colleges resources and programs to students living on the Eastern Shore of Maryland, Delaware, and Pennsylvania. Since its opening in 1902, the student enrollment at Central College has grown to 6,585 total students. The new annex marks a place in our journey, as we grow even further.
eLearning: Advancing our vision and our legacy
Central College has an innovative eLearning program that allows students at the Ocean City annex to remotely participate in classes taking place in the Baltimore campus. Students sit in a classroom in Ocean City and watch lecture, participate in discussions, and collaborate with other students. Central College is the first liberal arts school on the East Coast to implement this new technology, putting us in the same league as large research institutions.
