DESCRIPTION
HECTATONE B-91 organophilic bentonite is a viscosifier and gelling agent that can be used in any oil based drilling
fluid. HECTATONE B-91 is an amine treated Wyoming bentonite designed to yield optimal performance in any oil
based drilling fluid to cost effectively increase carrying capacity for drill solids. HECTATONE B-91 provides
suspension properties, emulsion stability, fluid loss control and solids suspension in oil based drilling fluids.
HECTATONE B-91 is typically used in invert emulsions utilizing diesel oil or mineral oils.

APPLICATIONS
HECTATONE B-91 organophilic bentonite is used as a viscosifier and gelling agent in diesel oil and mineral oils.
HECTATONE B-91 is stable at down-hole temperatures up to 325 F. For temperatures in excess of 325F,
UNIVERSAL organophilic hectorite is recommended.

HECTATONE B-91 can be packaged in 50 lb. or 25 kg. multi-ply paper sacks, and in Bulk Bags.
