2 Peter 1:9 says that a believer can be temporarily blind.

What does a believer forget that temporarily makes them
blind? How can you work to make sure you are seeing
clearly?

Based on John 10:28-29, John MacArthur writes: Jesus

sheep are secure because he is the Good Shepherd,
who has the power to keep them safe. Neither thieves
and robbers (vv. 1, 8) nor the wolf (v. 12) can harm them.
Verse 29 makes clear that the Father ultimately stands
behind the sheeps security, for no one is able to steal
from God, who is in sovereign control of all things (Col.
3:3).
Pray and thank the Lord, for the security that is provided
to the believer, because of Gods sovereignty over all
things.

Tuesday

Thursday

Bible Reading: John 10:11-21; 1 John 2:18-23; Job 11; Ezekiel 31-32

But you have been anointed by the Holy One, and you all
have knowledge. I write to you, not because you do not know
the truth, but because you know it, and because no lie is of
the truth, 1 John 2:20-21.

Pray over what is being stated in the following quote by D.

Martin Lloyd Jones:

Christ, as the Holy One, imparts the Holy Spirit as the believers guide to knowing all things (John 14:26). Pray and thank
the Lord for the Spirit and the Spirits help in guarding believers from error.

If we believe that Jesus of Nazareth is the only begotten

Son of God and that He came into this world and went to
the cross of Calvary and died for our sins and rose again
in order to justify us and to give us life anew and prepare
us for heaven-if you really believe that, there is only one
inevitable deduction, namely that He is entitled to the
whole of our lives, without any limit whatsoever.
