CONFERENCE REMINDER
**Parent-Teacher Conferences are happening this week through Friday November 4, 2016. Please make a note that SCHOOL WILL END AT 1:00
PM MONDAY - THURSDAY. If your child does not ride the school bus and does not have a conference scheduled please make arrangements to
have your child picked up at 1:00 pm. Mahalo for your attention in this matter.
Book Fair
Due to unforeseen circumstances the Book Fair will be closed this week. We will have the Book Fair open during school
hours next week on Wednsday & Thursday, Nov 9 & 10. Parents may accompany their child(ren) after school hours from
2:30 pm - 4:30pm during the week of Nov 14 - 18. For all parents accompanying their child(ren), we will enter your name
into a drawing for a Gift Card of $25 to be used at Choice Mart. When a parent attends a 20 minute presentation of
iReady, which is a program that your child useses in school, we will enter their name into a drawing for 1 Ham Dinner
from Choice Mart. ($66.00 value) THe Ham dinner comes with Creamy Mashed Potatoes, Green Bean Casserole,
Homestyle Brown Gravy, King's Hawaiian Dinner Rolls & 8" Apple or Pumpkin pie. This is a fabulous prize!

TRIPOD Student Survey


In November, students in grades 3-5 will be asked to complete the Tripod Student Perception Survey. This is a confidential survey that serves
as one of the several mesures used for the evaluation of teachers. If you would like to see examples of the type of question your child will be
asked, you may come to the school Office to view them.
During the week of October 17 -21 we had and incentive program in school- Whos Wearing The School Uniform? Daily
percentages of students wearing their school uniform were gathered. Grades 2 & 5 had multiple winners for consistently
attaining 100%. Each of the following students won a $5.00 gift certificate to use at the school Book Fair! Congratulations!

We also would like to congratulate Mistee Beaudet who is our winner of our "Best Guess Activity" There were 2
pumpkins and the qustions were: 1. Which Pumpkin has the most seeds & 2. How many seeds are in the pumpkin?
Mistee guessed Pumpkin B, and 400. The answer was B and 478 seeds. She was the closest without going over!
Mistee received a $10 Gift Certificate to be used at our Book Fair! Congratulations Mistee!
