My main concerns were the girl she rear ended told the officer it was not allures fault and that a vehicle braked in front of her causing her to break and causing allure to run into her car as she braked they didn't listen to that and still gave her a ticket. The stop happened at around 4:00 pm and the officer did not provide me his name at any point during the stop but he was a younger male officer with a buzz cut, I see that there are only 4 regular patrol officers on that shift so hopefully he can be identified from the information I provided. As he approached my vehiole, keeping my hands on the steering wheel, | initially informed him that I was headed home from my job in the inner city of Milwaukoe and was openly carrying a firearm. I had my license readily available and hsnded itto him upon his request, When he asked for my registration and proof of insurance, I told him I may have it ‘but I do not feel comfortable taking my hands off the steering wheel and searching through my center console for it, His immediate response to that was "well if you go for your gun you are going to get shot." T thought that ‘was very unprofessional and inappropriate given Thad just told him I did not want to remove my hands ffom the stcering wheel, I am a law abiding citizen and had been polite and very careful of actions the entire time so I did not appreciate him essentially threatening to shoot me when he had absolutely no reason to make that intimidating statement, His comment made me extremely nervous to the point where I was visibly shaking, which he then questioned me about. He did not wizite me any citations even though he told me he was going to and I did not get a look at his name tag. When he returned to my vehicle he told me I should not be carrying a firearm if it makes me nervous, I conveyed to him once again that I work in a dangerous area of Milwaukee and Tam well within my legal right to do so. His response was "whatever" and with that he returned to his squad car and I went on my way. { spoke with a fiamily member about this incident and they suggested that I make a complaint in regards to it, ve never had any police officer make such an unnecessary threatening and intimidating statement towards me bofore and I'l add that every other Pewaukee officer I have come into contact with has been extremely professional and polite.
