Simonton, D. K. (2013). The science of genius. Scientific American, 23, 20-27

In this dialogue, Simonton discusses the historicity of genius and the public perceptions centered

.
Hurley, D. (2012). Can you make yourself smarter. The New York Times Magazine, 38.
This article discusses the various ways in which intelligence can be increased. Focusing on the
euro-centric education is valuable to deconstructing what defines genius.
Bharucha, R. (1999). Politics of culturalisms in an age of globalisation: Discrimination, discontent and
dialogue. Economic and Political Weekly, 477-489.
Bharucha brings up the multiple ways in which intelligence has become globalized, but in a way
that primarily reflects western thought. Without taking into account foreign powers, our notion of
genius could be potentially bankrupt.

media. Routledge

Donzelot, J. (2008). Michel Foucault and liberal intelligence. Economy and society, 37(1), 115-134.
This source discusses how knowledge emphasizes power relations and applies to European
notions of supremacy.
Wechsler, D. (2014). Wechsler Adult Intelligence ScaleFourth Edition (WAISIV).
This is simply a summation of a general intelligence test, which I will use in my analysis to break
down how certain factors could be negatively affecting certain minorities.
