To Whom It May Concern:
My name is Caroline Padilla and I am current senior at Carson Senior
High School in the Global Business and Law Academy interested in a career
in engineering or business management. As a high school student, Ive
developed significant time management, leadership, and communication
skills would serve as an asset. I am passionate and dedicated when it comes
to my work. Light-hearted as I am, I have a deep sense of determination and
ambition. I would overcome any obstacles that would come in my way and
never fail to succeed my goal.
My father worked as one of the civil engineers at the National
Electrification Administration of the Philippines and therefore discovered the
world of engineering early on in my life. I was surrounded by piles of
blueprints of building designs and exposed to construction sites at a very
young age. My past experiences shadowing and assisting my dad during his
workdays influenced me to follow his footsteps towards engineering.
As a senior in high school, my future has been a concept that
frequently crossed my mind. What to do, when to do it, how to do it; all of
these thoughts are constantly on my mind. I would like to go to a 4-year
university after high school, and begin my journey to achieve a bachelors in
computer science/engineering. In order to make any of my dreams happen
Id take advantage of any and all opportunities to learn more and further
develop my knowledge in the field. I know I'll have to work hard and focus
throughout the years in order to achieve my dream of becoming a computer
engineer.
