HEADMASTERS CORNER

AUTUMNAL FUN FOR RECEPTION

Welcome back to what promises to be an action

packed second half of the term. Already the children
have been extremely busy in both the classroom and
on the sports fields with some excellent results as a
reward.

Reception had a wonderful time on Monday collecting

some of the beautiful Autumn leaves for their
classroom. We think Lexi was particularly proud of
hers!

The half term break was very busy in school with the
redevelopment of the Nursery and the boarding girls'
bathroom now well underway. My particular thanks to
Mr Wilmer and his team. Work is also now underway
on the windows on the front of the Manor House and
we hope to say farewell to the scaffolding soon!
May I please ask that you check your school
calendars for the many events coming up. On 11th
November we will be holding our annual bonfire night
so fingers crossed for continued dry weather so we
can park on the lower field! My thanks in advance to
all members of FOTM and staff for their help. If you
are not a regular FOTM member but would like to help
on the night please do ask your Form Rep or Mrs
Edwards, the FOTM Chair.

Finally, Year 8 pupils will be selling Poppies around

the school next week and we would appreciate it if all
children could have a poppy to wear during our
Remembrance Day service next Friday.
