1- Context
Oman Oil Refineries and Petroleum Industries Company (Orpic) is a composite of a group of companies
integrated with each other with the single objective of building an integrated Omani refining and
petrochemical business that we are proud of.
ORPIC grows up to a big downstream oil company with more than 2000 employees and is becoming one of
the largest industrial compound in the country. Therefore, it becomes necessary to change the whole process
in ORPICs Librarys system. The desire for a simpler and faster way of library management system and book
release and return process is the main goal of the Training centre.

2- Purpose

The purpose of this document is to Supply industrial type of fibre optic splicing and testing equipment.

3- Scope of Work
Improve the image of ORPICs communication system. By maintaining reliable FOC, and to reduce
cable restoration time and more efficient process.
