Athena clothed her, Aphrodite gave her beauty, Apollo gave her musical melodies, All were to please the five mundane senses of Zeus and the other Gods, Gluttonous Gods, --fine, but answer me please, Who gave her the brains? How could she move with only beauty? Without citizens how could a city Exist? But yes, the vain deities, none bothered to give her intelligence The foundation of an invisible fence, The declaration of an idiotic rule that would pollute even the future, That day was nurtured, In the very water and soil that made her, But perhaps, the water content went a bit too far, So that she had to cry forever, To lower the burden.
I hope Pandora takes birth today again,
And standing amidst the revolution rain, She proudly crushes the thousand locks, And proudly opens the forbidden box, Lets out dreams, strength and confidence Breaks it down, that damned fence And those who scream and cry for gender and race, Let them be beaten by pride, not beauty or grace, I dream , for Pandora today, forbidance has fallen, Her eyes now radiant, will no more be swollen, With tears. The end of all fears.
Hopes take me further, the last Pandora to leave this
earth, May she laugh from her soul, and smile from her heart, And bid farewell, to a genderless truth.
