Bangladesh.

HISTORY ON IT
Tradevision Ltd. (TVL) is a service oriented private limited company in operation since
1985. One of the best in the field of Electro Medical Equipment and Power Generator
Supply, Installation and Service in Bangladesh.
The Company started its activities with general trading in 1985. In 1991 it switched
over to Medical Equipment Supply & Installation. Since then it remains its Principal
Business. TVL entered into the field of Industrial Power Generation - supply &
installation in 1994.
At the moment the firm is manned by 95 employees with a highly qualified service
team, which includes twenty eight postgraduate, graduate and diploma Engineers and
around twelve highly skilled technicians. The rest of the employees constantly monitor
sales, admin, accounts etc.
In Medical Field we served almost all the tertiary level referral Medical College
hospitals, District hospitals, secondary level 250 bed Project hospitals, most of the
clinics, diagnostic centers throughout the country.

TEMPORARY TECHNICIANS:
ANOTHER 5 10 TECHNICIANS COULD BE INCLUDED SUBJECT TO SERVICE WORKLOAD
SERVICE POLICY:
We adopt following system to ensure proper customer service: a. Free routine maintenance (part of PPM)
Our Engineers are used to visit all customers site once in every month within the
city area without any charges within warranty period. This is a friendly visit to
perform minor preventive maintenance and to discuss the operational and
functional problems. We cover whole country similarly in every three months i.e
quarterly.
b. Monitoring
In every month we are used to send postal pre-paid service cards to every
customer around the country, asking some service and performance related
questions against our supplied machines/generating sets. As soon as we find any
problem we are used to attend the job within 8-36 hrs depending on the location
of the installation site.
Management takes initiative to include Service Dept in the below listed meetings for
monitoring analysis 1. 24 Term meetings (15 days = 1 Term) in a calendar year on performance evaluation and
monitoring
2. Quarterly meeting on total evaluation and service monitoring.
Manufacturer training:
(a) OVERSEAS TRAININGS: Our service engineers are trained from different manufacturers of
UK, China, Sweden, Switzerland, India, and Germany, Australia, Singapore. The
manufacturer arranged these highly professional, well equipped and skilled training in
their factory/ Training center.
(b) LOCAL TRAININGS: Manufacturers also send their Trainers/ Experts every year (once or
twice) to Bangladesh for training and up gradation of our sales and service team on their
products. This practice is very much regular with a keen objective from the part of
Manufacturer to keep the whole team well concerned on all their recent updates and
capable to provide satisfied customer support.
SERVICE STRENGTH OF TVL:
Introduction:
We believe Post Purchase Discontent should be minimized. As such after sales service is our
prime feature, which convince our buyers to buy the second Power Equipment form us. Our
Company provides top priority on Service. Manufacturer trains most of our Engineers & they are
prepared to handle service problems from minor to major extend. Our company philosophy is to
be the partner of the buyer rather to be a seller only. We provide following service care to our
customers:
Service Facilities:
a) Store: We have facilities for store to keep the first & slow moving spare parts. All fast
moving engine parts, fast moving alternator parts, filters, sensors, air filters, solenoids,
modex, PLC units and other consumables.
b) Service Center: One at Dhaka and one at Chittagong, well equipped with
necessary tools, manuals, drawings, computer systems, service instrumentsoperated by trained service engineers.
c) Workshops: We do have a major workshop facility excluding our own at Dhaka and
Chittagong. We usually use the following workshop. (Caterpillar, Waukesha, Warsilla,
Jenbacher etc. are also using the same workshop)
